Humboldt Park Shootings Wound 4 People Since Tuesday

CHICAGO — Shootings in Humboldt Park have wounded four people since Tuesday, police said.

• At 1:04 a.m. Wednesday, a 58-year-old taxi driver was shot in West Humboldt Park.

• At 7:23 p.m. Tuesday, a 25-year-old man was shot in his right thigh in the 2800 block of West North Avenue, police said.

The man took himself to Norwegian American Hospital in good condition, police said.

The man was uncooperative with investigators, a police source said.

• At 6:03 p.m., a 16-year-old boy and 22-year-old man were shot in Humboldt Park, police said. The two were in the 1500 block of North Rockwell Street when they were shot.

The boy was hit in his arm and leg and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said. The man had his hand grazed by a bullet and he took himself to St. Mary Hospital in good condition.

No further information was immediately available.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
