CHICAGO — Oscar Clay, 52, was gunned down by someone he knew during an argument in Austin on Monday, officials said.

At 1:32 p.m., the man was in a home in the 1700 block of North Narragansett Avenue when he got into an argument with a 27-year-old man, police said. The younger man took out a gun and shot the older man.

The man was hit in his head and his body, police said.

Clay, of the same block where he was killed, was pronounced dead at 1:45 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

The shooting was "domestic in nature," a police source said.

No one was in custody.
