CHICAGO — A 15-year-old boy was killed and a 16-year-old girl was wounded in a shooting in North Lawndale Sunday evening, police said.

At 6:32 p.m., the teens were in a gangway in the 1600 block of South St. Louis Avenue when a gray car drove by and someone inside fired shots, police said.

The boy was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The girl also was taken to Mt. Sinai after being grazed by a bullet in her back, police said.
