CHICAGO — Alandis Allison, 16, was shot to death in South Shore on Wednesday night, officials said.
At 9:20 p.m., officers responding to a call of shots fired found Allison on the ground, unresponsive, in the 7700 block of South Marquette Avenue, police said. He had been shot in his head.
Allison, of the 7700 block of South Kingston, was taken to Northwestern Hospital and pronounced dead at 10:11 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
An autopsy showed he died from multiple gunshot wounds in a homicide.
No one was in custody.
