CHICAGO — Scott Coleman, 27, was found shot to death in South Chicago on Thursday morning, officials said.
At 8:06 a.m., officers were called to check on the man and found him slumped over in a car in the 8200 block of South Escanaba Avenue, police said.
The man had been shot and was taken to Trinity Hospital, police said.
Coleman, of the 8100 block of South Muskegon Avenue, was pronounced dead at 8:08 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. An autopsy showed he died from multiple gunshot wounds in a homicide.
