CHICAGO — Jamie Jones, 27, was shot to death in Englewood on Monday night, officials said.
At 7:52 p.m., the man was driving a car in the 200 block of West 59th Street when someone in another car fired shots at him, police said.
The man was hit in his chest, back and arm and he was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.
Jones, of the 7400 block of South Wabash Avenue, was pronounced dead at 11:55 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
The man was a documented gang member, a police source said.
No one was in custody.
