DOWNTOWN — The world's first Nutella Cafe coming to Michigan Avenue will drizzle the sweet imported hazelnut spread on everything from pastries to paninis. Even salad, if you want.
The two-story cafe will open at 10 a.m. Wednesday at 151 N. Michigan Ave.
"We hope Nutella enthusiasts, Chicagoans and visitors enjoy the cafe as much as we enjoyed creating it," Noah Szporn, who runs Nutella's North American marketing, said earlier this month.

The first 400 people who attend the opening Wednesday morning will receive a coupon for a free menu item, the cafe said. The cafe is the first run by Ferrero SpA, the Italian manufacturer that makes Nutella.
The Nutella Cafe will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday; 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday; and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
