CHICAGO — Antoine Alexander, 24, was shot to death in Auburn Gresham on Monday morning, officials said.
At 11:27 a.m., the man was sitting in a car in the 8400 block of South Hermitage Avenue when someone walked up to him and fired shots, police said.
The man was hit in his back and buttocks and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition, police said.
Alexander, of the same block where he was killed,w as pronounced dead at 12;10 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
No one was in custody.
