CHICAGO — Tina Brown, 53, was found dead early Saturday in a South Chicago building in a shooting that appears to be "domestic in nature," officials said.
Police found the woman in the 8000 block of South Essex Avenue at 12:20 a.m. Saturday. The woman had been shot in her head.
Brown, of the same block where she was killed, was pronounced dead at 12:59 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
The case is being investigated as a homicide, police said. No one was in custody.
