WICKER PARK — On its return to Wicker Park's namesake park, the weekly Farmers Market welcomed back  mainstay vendors such as Crepes Paname and new sellers offering baked goods, non-alcoholic ginger beer and locally-fermented kimchi.

Located at 1425 N. Damen Ave. in Wicker Park — one-half block south of the CTA Damen Blue Line "L" stop — the 2017 market season started on June 4 and will run through Oct. 29.

The hours are 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays.

The Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce, which produces the market, sends out an e-newsletter just for market-related news. To stay in the know, sign up for the newsletter.

As an additional bonus, there will be several free outdoor music and theater events happening on market Sundays, in partnership with the Wicker Park Advisory Council. Check out the volunteer group's "Create Series" schedule here, or scroll to the bottom of this post for the lineup.
