CHICAGO — A 35-year-old woman was shot to death in Washington Heights early Wednesday, officials said.
At 2:44 a.m., the woman was sitting in a car in the 9700 block of South Morgan Street when another car drove up and someone fired shots at the woman, police said.
The woman was hit multiple times in her torso and arm and was taken to Roseland Hospital, police said. She was unresponsive and was later pronounced dead.
She was identified as Tashika Manuel-Dunbar.
No one was in custody.
