THE LOOP — DNAinfo Chicago won four awards from the local branch of the Society of Professional Journalists Friday night, including Best Neighborhood News Site.
The awards were revealed at a Union League of Chicago ceremony hosted by the Chicago Headline Club, the local branch of the Society of Professional Journalists.
The neighborhood news site won Peter J. Lisagor awards for:

"Chicago's Train Seating Series" - Tanveer Ali

"Veterans Volunteer for Vietnam War Memorial" - Kelly Bauer
The Peter J. Lisagor Awards are named after the late, longtime Washington Bureau Chief of the Chicago Daily News.
