RIVER NORTH — The owners of River North dive Boss Bar have opened their late night taco place next door: Fat Baby Tacos.
The restaurant at 109 W. Hubbard St. is a classic assembly line operation where customers pick their fillings for their burritos or tacos. Fat Baby Tacos also sells elote (street corn), salads and soups, among other fare.
Customers can also drink at the restaurant, with beverages ranging from imported beer such as Tecate and Pacifico to margaritas ($9), sangria ($8) and shots of Vida mezcal or Fireball (both $8).
The restaurant says both their tortillas and cocktails are handmade.
Fat Baby Tacos is open from 11 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Wednesday and 11 a.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. The late night menu will only be available Thursday through Saturday.
