CHICAGO — A recent customer of a Norwood Park gas station is holding a Lucky Day Lotto ticket worth $400,000, according to the Illinois Lottery.
The winning ticket was bought at Citgo, 5726 N. Nagle Ave., Illinois Lottery spokesman Jason Schaumburg said. The winning numbers were drawn midday Sunday.
The winner of the ticket, marked 10-25-34-38-40, is encouraged to sign the back of the ticket and "keep it in a safe place" before submitting it the claim center at the Thompson Center, 100 W. Randolph St., Schaumburg said. It can also be brought to a lottery office in suburban Des Plaines.
The Citgo will be awarded 1 percent of the lottery winnings, or $4,000, for selling the winning ticket.
