CHICAGO — Alfred Stovall Jr., 31, was shot to death in Austin on Friday night, officials said.
At 7:01 p.m., the man was in the 600 block of North Lorel Avenue when he was shot multiple times, police said. He was found, unresponsive, by officers at the scene and taken to Stroger Hospital.
Stovall, of the 300 block of South Lavergne Avenue, was pronounced dead at 7:36 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. An autopsy showed he died from multiple gunshot wounds in a homicide.
No one was in custody.
