UPTOWN/ANDERSONVILLE — Looking to hit the town this weekend?

The neighborhood will be hosting zombie pub crawls, zombie adventures for the whole family and celebrating indie bookstore day.

Here is our list of things to do this weekend in Uptown and Andersonville:

Dress as a Zombie and Do Some Drinking: The 10th Annual Chicago Zombie Pub Crawl will creep through Andersonville this weekend. Register as a zombie here and receive a t-shirt, souvenir cup, and access to drink specials and costume contest prizes. Bars include: the Sofo Tap, Simon's Tavern, Farragut's on Clark, Atmosphere, Andersonville Brewing Company and the Call. Check-in at the pH Comedy Theater, 1515 W. Berwyn Ave. 2 p.m. Saturday.

Take the Kids on a Zombie Adventure: Always wanted to go on a zombie adventure, but unsure if you can bring the whole family? This year, the pH Comedy Theater will host a Chicago Kids Zombie Adventure before the pub crawl. Meet at the theater, hear the beginning of the story, head off on your adventure and end your adventure with an ice cream party at George's. Tickets, which include entry for the whole family, are $30 and available here. Check-in at the pH Comedy Theater, 1515 W. Berwyn Ave. 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Saturday.

Celebrate Independent Bookstore Day: Women and Children First Bookstore will celebrate all day Saturday beginning with complimentary coffee and donuts courtesy of the Coffee Studio. In the afternoon, the bookstore will have an assortment of breads, spreads and cookies from Sauce and Bread Kitchen. The bookstore will also host a special edition of its literary series "The Conversation." 5233 N. Clark St. 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Saturday.

Drink for the Kids: Beloved Andersonville watering hole Hopleaf will once again celebrate Peirce Day. Sunday, all gross receipts from the bar will go to Peirce School of International Studies. More information on Peirce Day is available here. Noon - 2 a.m. Sunday. Hopleaf, 5148 N. Clark St.

Learn About Local Food Entrepreneurs: The Bezazian Library's first Food Entrepreneur program will feature Jenny Yang, owner of Edgewater's Phoenix Bean. She'll tell her story, explain her business and detail her products, which include tofu, soy milk and soy noodles. 11 a.m.- 12 p.m. Saturday. Bezazian Branch of the Chicago Public Library, 1226 W. Ainslie St.
