Baker Miller Partnering With Everybody's Coffee In Uptown

By Josh McGhee | April 27, 2017 3:10pm

UPTOWN — Everybody's Coffee on Wilson Ave, will expand its menu options this summer thanks to a partnership with Baker Miller, a bakery and cafe in Lincoln Square.

The partnership brings the Baker Miller kitchen to the coffee shop at 935 W. Wilson Ave., said owner Dave Miller.

"We are putting our full menu... inside of Everybody's Coffee," he said, adding the menu will include brunch items, sandwiches, salads and pastries — "Everything we do at our Western Avenue location, plus a little more."

In addition to Baker Miller's flagship shop at 4610 N. Western Ave. in Lincoln Square, another is at 4642 N. Francisco Ave. in Ravenswood Manor. Its full menu is available here.

"We are good friends and we've worked together for years," said Miller, adding the shop is already selling its pastries.

Everybody's Coffee has been planning to add a cafe or small restaurant to the space for years and Miller has been hoping to open in Uptown location, he said.

The neighborhood is going through a lot of changes and "we wanted to be a positive part of that so it made sense to partner," he said.

The partnership is rolling out slowly over the next few weeks and should be completed by the summer, Miller said.

The arrangement was first reported by Chicagoist Wednesday.
