You Can Adopt These Adorable Puppies, Cats At PAWS Adopt-A-Thon

CHICAGO — PAWS is hoping it can find homes for more than 100 homeless dogs, cats, puppies and kittens during its spring Adopt-a-Thon.

PAWS, a no-kill animal shelter, will extend its hours for the annual event as it tries to find homes for pets and raise awareness of its work.

The Adopt-a-Thon runs 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Lincoln Park Adoption Center, 1997 N. Clybourn Ave.

Here's a look at some of the pets you can adopt:

Destiny, a 2-month-old lab mix, loves playing with toys.

Ned, a 5-month-old kitten, is a big fan of mice toys.

Jasper, a 4-year-old Anatolian shepherd mix, has been taking classes at the PAWS Training Center.

Cranberry Crisp, a 3-year-old hound mix, is a quick learner who likes to work and play.

Hail, Cedar and Gilson, 2-month-old kitten siblings, come from Chicago Animal Care and Control.
