By Kelly Bauer | April 25, 2017 7:38am

CHICAGO — Taurean Dwayne Tyler, 19, was shot to death and a 17-year-old was wounded in West Englewood on Monday night, officials said.

At 7:31 p.m., the two were walking in the 6900 block of South Honore Street when a black car drove up and a man got out and fired shots, police said.

The 19-year-old man was hit in his chest and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition, police said. Tyler, of the 7000 block of South Paulina, was later pronounced dead, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

An autopsy showed Tyler died from multiple gunshot wounds in a homicide.

The teen was hit in his buttocks and leg and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

No one was in custody.
