CHICAGO — A 26-year-old man crashed into several cars and a building after refusing to stop for police in Edgewater, police said.
At 1:28 a.m. Friday, officers saw the driver go through a red light near the 5600 block of North Ashland Avenue, and they tried to pull him over, police said. The man refused to stop, and he crashed into several parked cars and then hit a building, police said.
The man was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital with minor injuries, police said, and he was in custody for fleeing and eluding. Citations were pending.
