UPTOWN — The former Cuneo Hospital buildings have been demolished, and the ongoing work at Clarendon and Montrose Avenues should soon be a bit quieter.

Between now and the end of April, steel sheeting will be installed at 811 Uptown, according to a press release from Lendlease.

"This will complete the scope of work with the highest noise impact for the project," the release said.

Developers warned the demolition of Cuneo Hospital and Maryville Academy site would be noisy as crews made way for the 27-story apartment building with first-floor retail and a pool, gym, game room and demonstration kitchen on the fourth floor.

The high-rise building will include a mix of 373 one and two-bedroom units, according to the release.

Pile driving work on 811 Uptown was completed in March. Construction is expected to be completed by December 2018, according to the release.
