CHICAGO — A 32-year-old man was shot Tuesday during a carjacking on the South Side, police said.
At 4:55 p.m., the man was a passenger in a car parked in the 3700 block of South Archer Avenue when a man walked up and fired shots, police said. The shooter then got into the car and drove away in it.
The victim was hit in his chest and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as stable, police said.
No one was in custody.
