WEST TOWN — Before you know it, summer will be here. And one sign of that is the annual announcement of Do Division's street fest lineup, this year featuring some throwback rock bands along with newcomers.
The June 2-4 festival — along the 2000 to 2100 blocks of West Division Street — offers live music, a sidewalk sale, a fashion show and a kid-friendly family area.

The Family Fun Fest:
The Family Fun Fest takes over more than two full blocks (on Hoyne & Crystal) and offers popular activities such as: pony and train rides, face painting, bounce house, jousting, arts, crafts and dozens of local children’s retailers. Fun fest hours are noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. There is no additional donation requested to enter the fun fest but the rides and activities are not free.
The Do Fashion Fest:
Do Fashion (at Division and Hoyne) will again feature a "who’s who of local designers" like Anastasia Chatzka and Borris Powell. Runway shows throughout the weekend will feature clothing from pop-up shops Baraka Ethnic Collection, Mistura Timepieces, Theresa Kuempel, Colette Collection, Mashallah Jewelry, Micha Store, Hidden Treasures, North & Hudson Mobile Boutique, Dynamic Salon Nail Art & Braiding and M.GO Fashion Boutique.
A $5 requested donation to the fest will benefit the West Town Chamber of Commerce and local schools Friends of Pritzker and LaSalle II PTO. Main fest hours are 5 - 10 p.m Friday and Noon to 10 p.m. Saturday-Sunday.
