CHICAGO — Eric Kellum, 21, died two weeks after being shot in Auburn Gresham, officials said.
At 2:45 a.m. March 26, the man was driving a car in the 7600 block of South Winchester Avenue when another car pulled alongside him and someone inside fired shots, police said.
The man was hit in his head and right leg and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition, police said.
Kellum, of the 11500 block of South Church Street, was pronounced dead at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. An autopsy showed he died from complications of multiple gunshot wounds in a homicide.
