CHICAGO — City crews will help Chicagoans eager to shake off winter and get busy in their yards and gardens.

Homeowners can call 311 from Monday-Friday to schedule a pickup by city crews, officials said.

Bagged yard waste should be put out separately near trash and recycling carts, officials said. The leaves, grass clippings and sticks will be hauled away and composted, officials said.
