MOUNT GREENWOOD — A flashlight Easter egg hunt will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Mount Greenwood Park.

The 19th Ward Youth Foundation will host the free event for families living in Beverly, Morgan Park and Mount Greenwood. Ald. Matt O'Shea (19th) is coordinating the egg hunt at 3721 W. 111th St.

Children will be divided up into different age groups for the egg hunt, and attendees can also get their picture with the Easter bunny. Flashlights will not be provided.

Participants are advised to bring their own bags for collecting eggs. This is not a peanut-free event. For more information, call the 19th Ward office at 773-238-8766.
