CHICAGO — A 21-year-old Archer Heights man is dead after being shot two blocks from his home Friday evening, police said.
Officers responded to a call of shots fired in the 4900 block of South Kostner Avenue at 6:47 p.m.
When police arrived, they found out that the victim had already been taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he died after being shot in his chest and neck.
The man was identified as Carlos Rosas, of the 4900 block of South Kildare Avenue, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
No one is in custody.
