MORGAN PARK — "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" is now playing and runs through May 5 at the Beverly Arts Center.
The Chicago Kids Co.'s show is targeted at children ages 2-8. Tickets to the live performance at 2407 W. 111th St. cost $12 or $8 for groups of 20 or more.
The show performed in the 400-seat theater is based on the classic story of a young girl who ventures into the woods. Only this time, we are introduced to Goldilocks' groovy mom Wynona, along with the family of three friendly bears.
All of the theater company's performances feature audience participation and run for an hour without an intermission.
The show has multiple weekday showings at 10:30 a.m. There's also a 1 p.m. show April 15.
