DOWNTOWN — Armed carjackers are rolling up to Downtown drivers in a black Chrysler before robbing victims, police say.

Police on Monday shared a photo of a car similar to the one the carjackers used in two crimes last week Downtown. The suspects' car appears to be a Chrysler Sebring, police said.

In the crimes, the two suspects approach drivers in traffic before showing guns and ordering victims from their cars. Police say the Downtown carjackings, one attempted and one realized, occurred at:

• 3 a.m. March 29 in 900 block of South Michigan Avenue; nothing was taken

• 10:47 p.m. March 29 in the 2100 block of South Wabash Avenue; victim's car and phone was taken

Police described one suspect as a 5-foot-3 to 5-foot-7 black man between 20 and 25 years old with dreadlocks, a dark complexion and black jacket. The other suspect was described as a 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-11 black man between 25 and 30 years old with a dark complexion and black skull cap.

Sebrings were last produced in 2010.
