Chicago Blues Festival 2017 Lineup, New Location Revealed

DOWNTOWN — Rhymefest, John Primer and Nellie "Tiger" Travis are among the headliners playing the Chicago Blues Festival this year, which will be held for the first time entirely in Millennium Park after decades under the Petrillo Music Shell.

The 34th annual Chicago Blues Festival will explore the influence of urban blues on subsequent genres such as hip-hop and R&B, the city announced Tuesday.

The free three-day festival will be spread across four stages June 9-11 in Millennium Park. Preview shows at venues including the Chicago Cultural Center and Daley Plaza also are planned.

Here's the full lineup:

FRIDAY, JUNE 9
