Police Seek Suspect in 3 Armed Robberies in Auburn Gresham

CHICAGO — Police are urging residents to be careful following three armed robberies in Auburn Gresham.

The attacks happened:

• about 9 a.m. March 12 in the 1800 block of West 79th Street;

• about 7:45 a.m. March 13 in the 7900 block of South Wood Street;

• and about 1:45 p.m. Friday in the 8000 block of South Wood Street.

In each incident, a robber pulled a gun and stole a victim's personal belongings, police said in a community alert Monday.

Officers are looking for one or more black males who are roughly 15 to 20 years old, between 5-foot-5 and 6-feet tall and weigh anywhere from 140 to 180 pounds. Police said that at least one suspect had a missing tooth.
