CHICAGO — Charles Luckett, 32, was shot and killed in Humboldt Park and a woman wounded early Friday, officials said.
At 2:32 a.m., the man and woman were inside a business in the 3800 block of West Chicago Avenue when someone in the business fired shots, police said.
The man was hit in his chest and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition, police said.
Luckett, of the 800 block of South Sacramento Avenue, was pronounced dead at 4:28 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
The woman, 42, was hit in her ankle and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.
The man was a documented gang member, a police source said.
No one was in custody.
