West Ridge Shooting Wounds Man, 29, Police Say

CHICAGO — A 29-year-old man was shot and wounded in West Ridge early Thursday, police said.

At 4:45 a.m., the man was standing outside his apartment in the 2200 block of West Rosemont Avenue when several men or boys walked up and fired shots, police said.

The man was hit in his stomach and taken to St. Francis Hospital in good condition, police said.

No one was in custody.
