WICKER PARK — In solidarity with A Day Without A Woman, Wicker Park coworking office Free Range will be offering "a sanctuary space" during the workday on Wednesday for women, according to owner Liane Jackson.

Set for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, which is also International Women's Day, the event will offer "a full day of collective action and community support," plus free coworking space and childcare to those in attendance, Jackson said.

Women are encouraged to wear red. Refreshments will be provided; additional food brought by attendees is welcome. too.

The coworking office, which rents desks by the day or month, opened in 2014. The 4,000 square-foot loft is located at 2141 W. North Ave., 2nd Floor, about two blocks west of the North, Milwaukee and Damen avenues intersection.
