CHICAGO — Police are seeking suspects after two recent Uptown and Andersonville robberies.

In each incident, armed robbers approached people sitting in parked cars, pulled a gun and stole items before running away, police announced in a community alert.

The first attack happened about 1:45 p.m. Feb. 28 in the 4800 block of North Magnolia Avenue. The second occurred about 1:40 a.m. Tuesday in the 5700 block of North Clark Street.

Officers are asking residents to avoid sitting in parked cars for any length of time. Anyone with information should call detectives at 312-744-8263 and mention alert No. P17-N-061.
