Body Found In South Branch Of Chicago River, Police Say

CHICAGO — A male body was found in the South Branch of the Chicago River near a Bridgeport park Friday afternoon, police said.

Police were called to the 2800 block of South Eleanor Street near the Eleanor Street Boathouse at 2:18 p.m.

The age of the person is unknown and police have launched a death investigation.
