CHICAGO — Actor Dax Shepard will lead the Polar Plunge this year.
Shepard, who stars in the upcoming film "CHIPS," will be the "Very Important Plunger" — or VIP — at the charity event this year, according to a Polar Plunge news release.
The Polar Plunge raises money for Special Olympics Chicago and routinely attracts stars like Lady Gaga, Vince Vaughn and others.
The Polar Plunge starts 10 a.m. Sunday at North Avenue Beach, 1603 N. Lake Shore Drive. You can register at the event or online.
