Where To Celebrate Mardi Gras In Chicago Across The Neighborhoods

CHICAGO — Looking for some Mardi Gras-themed fun this week?

We've rounded-up more than a dozen options to get your fix. Here is our list:

ANDERSONVILLE

Jerry's, 5419 N. Clark St.

NOLA-inspired dishes and cocktails will be available at Jerry's through the 28th. Cocktails include Hurricanes. Eats include po' boys and muffuletta sandwiches, plus fried shrimp and oysters. Friday through Tuesday, 11 a.m. to midnight.

BUCKTOWN

Remedy, 1910 N. Milwaukee Ave. 

Remedy will be giving away free king cakes and tarot card readings. Drink specials include: select beers for $2-$3 and hurricanes for $7. Tuesday, 4 p.m. to 4 a.m.

JEFFERSON PARK

Gale Street Inn, 4914 N. Milwaukee Ave. 

Gale Street Inn has a special Mardi Gras menu it will be serving through Tuesday. Menu items include: gumbo, oysters and rib combos. The full menu is available here. Friday through Tuesday, noon to 10 p.m.

LAKEVIEW

aliveOne, 2683 N. Halsted St. 

The bar will have select beers for $2 and $3 including Abita drafts. The back room will feature funk and soul music from DJ Dan Maloney, while the juke box will be playing classic NOLA tunes in the front room. It will also be decked in Mardi Gras decor and patrons will be given beads. Tuesday, 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Trader Todd's, 3216 N. Sheffield Ave. 

Trader Todd's is hosting a "Mardi Paw" benefit to raise money for Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control. A $20 donation at the door will unlock karaoke, a raffle and a full Mardi Gras menu. Tuesday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

LINCOLN PARK

Oyster Bah, 1962 N. Halsted St.

Oyster Bah oyster bar is celebrating Fat Tuesday Big Easy-style with a New Orleans-inspired menu that includes a fried oyster po' boy, bjalapeno-cheddar corn muffins and shrimp served three different ways. Tuesday, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

LINCOLN SQUARE

Luella's Southern Kitchen, 4609. N. Lincoln Ave. 

Chef Darnell Reed at Luella's is serving up a Fat Tuesday platter of southern comfort: fried chicken, buttermilk biscuits, pimento cheese and flatbread plus a Low Country shrimp boil. Tuesday, 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Jerry's, 4739 N. Lincoln Ave.

LOGAN SQUARE

The Owl, 2521 N. Milwaukee Ave.

Drink specials include: Abita drafts and bottles for $4, hurricanes for $7 and select beers for $2-$3. Tuesday, 6 p.m. to 4 a.m.

THE LOOP

Brando's Speakeasy, 343 S. Dearborn St. 

Brando's Essaness Room will have half-off wine bottles, $5 Hurricanes, $4 Stella Artois, $4 Goose Island 312s and free Mardi Gras beads. No cover. Trivia kicks off at 6:30 pm. Tuesday, 3 p.m. - 2 a.m.

RIVER NORTH

Untitled Supper Club, 111 W. Kinzie St.

Untitled Supper Club will be frying up New Orleans delicacies including alligator fritters and crawfish étouffée alongside a vintage burlesque showcase with live music by J-Livi & the party. A $35 prix fixe menu is also available along with half off select bottles of wine. Tuesday, 4:30 p.m. to 1 a.m.

UPTOWN

Crew Bar and Grill, 4804 N. Broadway 

Crew Bar and Grill will be celebrating debauchery and decadence Tuesday with its Krewe Carnavale event, which features performances from The Vixen, Mick DragHer and TrAshlee Simpson. Special menu items include gumbo and po' boy sandwiches. Abita Purple Haze will be $4. Tuesday, 9 p.m. to midnight.

WEST LOOP

Carnivale, 702 W. Fulton St. 

Carnivale will be celebrating Fat Tuesday Brazilian-style with a specialty menu and Carnival-themed entertainment Feb. 25-28. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, it will serve a special lunch menu accompanied by samba dancers. From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, the dinner menu will be served with entertainment including samba dancers, illumination dancers, drums and dragon processions. Tuesday, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., 6 p.m. - 10 p.m.

WICKER PARK

Estelle's, 2013 W. North Ave. ​

Estelle's will be giving away free packzis while supplies last on Fat Tuesday. It will also offer tarot card readings from 10 p.m. to midnight for $5-$20. Drink specials include: voodoo cocktails for $6 and select beers for $2-$3. Tuesday, 5 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Easy Bar, 1944 W. Division St. 

Easy Bar will celebrate Mardi Gras with a New Belgium Voodoo launch party featuring New Belgium brews for $6.50. Beads and king cakes will be plentiful while supplies last. Monday, 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m
