CHICAGO — A shooting in Roseland killed Justin Thomas, 30, Tuesday night, officials said.
At 9 p.m., the man was standing on the sidewalk in the 10000 block of South Michigan Avenue when someone in a dark-colored car fired shots at him, police said.
He was hit in his eye, police said.
Thomas, of the 7600 block of South Avalon Avenue, was pronounced dead at 9:10 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
No one was in custody.
