The world champion Cubs have a long wait list for season tickets, and the team told fans late last year that single game tickets will be 20 percent more expensive than they were in 2016.
Last year the club ran a whiffle ball home run derby in Millennium Park. Those who hit a home run won a pair of tickets.
The giveaway will precede the start of single game ticket sales, which begin at 10 a.m. Friday.
