$800,000 Winning Lotto Ticket Sold At Portage Park 7-Eleven

PORTAGE PARK — A recent patron of a Northwest Side convenience store is holding a Lucky Day Lotto ticket worth $800,000, according to the Illinois Lottery.

The winning ticket was bought at 7-Eleven, 5959 W. Belmont Ave., Illinois Lottery spokesman Jason Schaumburg said. The winning numbers were drawn midday Sunday.

The winner of the ticket, marked 01-12-18-22-23, is encouraged to sign the back of the ticket and "keep it in a safe place" before submitting it the claim center at the Thompson Center, 100 W. Randolph St., Schaumburg said. It can also be brought to a lottery office in suburban Des Plaines.

The 7-Eleven will be awarded 1 percent of the lottery winnings, or $7,500, for selling the winning ticket.
