CHICAGO — Eddie Wade, 62, died after being shot multiple times in East Garfield Park on Tuesday afternoon, officials said.
The incident occurred about 2:40 p.m. in the 3400 block of West Walnut Street, police said.
The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, police said.
Wade, of the 7000 block of South Artesian Avenue, was pronounced dead at 4:30 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
