CHICAGO — A 29-year-old man was shot to death in Austin on Saturday morning, police said.
At 2:25 a.m., the man was sitting on a porch in the 300 block of North Lorel Avenue when someone shot him, police said.
The man was hit multiple times throughout his body and taken to West Suburban Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The man was identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office as Keenan Turner, of the same block.
Turner was a documented gang member, a police source said.
No one was in custody.
