CHICAGO — Two teens have been charged in a shooting that was seen by officers in Back of the Yards, police said.
At 6:47 p.m. Thursday, officers patrolling in the 4700 block of South Loomis Street saw someone in a black SUV fire shots at a man on the street, police said. Police chased the car to the 4500 block of South Hermitage Avenue, where two teens in the car got out and tried to run away.
The teens, 16 and 17, were arrested and charges were pending, police said.
The car had been reported stolen and there were guns found inside, police said. No one was wounded from the gunfire.
