CHICAGO — The Chicago Pizza Summit will return — and tickets are going on sale just in time for National Pizza Day.

The April 9 summit will feature tons of pizza from chefs and pizzerias around the city as well as live music, a photo booth and a pop-up U.S. Pizza Museum, according to a news release.

Those looking to declare themselves the champion of pizza can also participate in the "first-ever multi-event Pizza Olympics," organizers said.

Tickets go on sale noon Thursday — National Pizza Day — on emptybottle.com. Tickets are $35 and cover all-you-can-eat pizza, five beer tickets and an Old Style plate. Tickets sold out last year, organizers said, and hundreds of people attended.

The summit sessions are 2-5 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. April 9 at the First Ward Chop Shop, 2033 W. North Ave.
