CHICAGO — Two people were found shot to death in Brighton Park on Monday morning, police said.
At 7:36 a.m., the two were found inside a home in the 2500 block of West 46th Street, police said. A 33-year-old woman had been shot in her torso and a man, 31, had been shot in his head. The two were pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman was a documented gang member, a police source said.
Pricilla Gloria, of the 2500 block of West 46th Street, was pronounced dead at 7:45 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. An autopsy showed Gloria died from a gunshot wound in her chest in a homicide.
Edwin Eliseco Chuy Cutzal, of the 4600 block of South Sacramento Avenue, was pronounced dead at 7:45 a.m., according to the Medical Examiner's Office. An autopsy showed he died from multiple gunshot wounds in a homicide.
No one was in custody.
