Police Identify Woman Found Unconscious In Boystown

BOYSTOWN — After asking for help identifying a woman found unconscious near Boystown, Chicago Police said she has been identified.

The woman was originally described by police as about 40 to 60 years old and 5 feet 7 inches tall, police said. She was found near Belmont Avenue and Broadway, and the Crime in Wrigleyville + Boystown blog reported that a passerby called 911 after seeing the unresponsive woman around 5:30 a.m. Thursday.

The woman was wearing a cream-colored hat, black coat, cream-colored sweater and brown suede boots. She has gray hair and appears to be white. Her eye color is unknown.

While the woman had no outward signs of trauma, she is being treated at a hospital nearby, police said.
