CHICAGO — "Bob's Burgers" is out of Wonder Wharf and coming to Lakeview.
The Playground Theater will host "Hot Buns & Beefcakes: Linda Belcher's Love Connection," a variety show where actors will provide their spin on the Belcher family from "Bob's Burgers."
The show will follow the Belchers as they try to save their struggling burger business when a fast food chain opens next door, according to a news release. Hoping to drum up business, Linda hosts a bachelor and bachelorette auction for "the lovelorn denizens" of their town, according to the news release.
"Hot Buns & Beefcakes" will feature music, improv, burlesque and stand-up, among other things. Shows are Feb. 4, 11, 18 and 25 at Playground Theater, 3209 N. Halsted St.
You can buy tickets online. Standards tickets are $10. Love-o-Meters tickets come with reserved seats, a picture with the cast, a bag of chocolates and a bottle of wine for $40, and Heart Pancake tickets come with reserved seats and a six pack for $30.
