CHICAGO — Jeffery Demetrius Brown, 34, was shot to death in West Pullman on Friday night, officials said.
At 7:45 p.m., the man was found shot in the head and thigh in the 400 block of West 129th Place, police said.
The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition, officials said.
Brown, of the same block where he was killed, was later pronounced dead, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
No one was in custody.
