DEPAUL — A 19-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were held up early Friday outside DePaul University's 1237 West housing complex, police said.
The couple said they were walking east near the apartment complex at 1237 W. Fullerton Ave. just after 3 a.m. when they were approached by two men armed with handguns who then robbed them, police said.
The men ran off northbound with a purse, wallet and cellphone, police said.
Neither the man nor woman was injured, police said. No one was in custody, and detectives were investigating, police said.

The 1237 West building is considered off-campus affiliated housing and is privately owned.
